I really hate some stuff that has been happening in my life as of late. One of the things is that my uncle is in the hospital. He was sent in for having ammonia and thought that he was going to be out in a couple of days. But my mom started to worried her father my grandpa had that and started fearing the worse ahead of time. I just told her "He young and he can get better and mom I am here ok."

Because my grandfather had it and was treated and went home and was taken care by my mother, her brother and her sister. And well he was doing fine for a while and was being able to walk and be healthy again. But that little brief of hope soon shattered because he went home up above while sleeping in his bed.

My mother was sadden for her father/ my grandpa passing. But I felt because I didn't go to see him much because I don't like to see a man in a hospital bed. Because I myself hate the hospital and of course we all do. Then at the funeral everyone was there that knew him. But I had to be the most depressed one their even though I tried to hide feelings of my grandpa passing. Since I was his grandson and he loved me very much and with him passing made me just break down and cry like I never had before in my life.

Then now my uncle is in the hospital and he doing alright but the news I am hearing we might lose him as well. Then that and my uncle wife interfering with everything because she nothing but a self-centered sociopath hearted bitch who doesn't care about anybody problems because she thinks she done no wrong.

She sees the world oh that sucks for that person but it's not my problem. Her own son is a drug addict and she doesn't care about it. He almost died once and she didn't care. He went to jail twice and she or my cousin didn't seem it as a bad thing. Their was a PSA that I saw that this girl came in her kitchen and she was suffering from thing. Then it turns to her mother who a alcoholic and they both starred at each other. Then the voice over says "How is the child that suppose to go someone for help. When the person they turn to also needs it as well."

This really hit home when I saw that commercial because I saw it going on in front me . My cousin who was a little brother to me was not the same person anymore. It such a hard time for because I am trying my best to not think bout it. I keep my mind occupied and might start hanging out with my friends more again because of this dilemma.

I know this entry is very emotional thing because so many things are happening to me. I wish I can solve everything but I am only one man. I am just going to pray that my uncle gets better. Well if you are able to read this whole entry you earn a gold star and a pokemon of your choice. Now time to ride the waves.

So let start it off with A Thought:

Sometimes I wonder what can I do other just stay at home, clean, and work out at my house and stay on the computer most of the day talking to friends. This one of the many questions I ask myself everyday. The thing I desire is a to drive a automobile. Because that the only way I can get around to cities that are farther away from my little shit hole of town.

Believe me I don't mind walking around my little city but to other cities is just plain impossible for me. Then now the rising gas prices it sort of like the wrong time for me to learn to drive. Then now I don't feel like going back to school no more and start working and actually make cash. So I can start paying my parents rent, bills, buy stuff for me, hang out with friends, etc. Because I feel so bad like I need to pay some back for all they did for me in the past.

But as of right now I am just hunting for jobs and trying my best to get behind the wheel of a car. One step at a time as they say well till next time.

Well Last week:
Well it looks another Sunday gave me another problem. Well to those who read my journals of pointless crap and rants. Well last night I DL The Wombats which is a pretty good band because its from the UK and everything better. But that besides the point. What I usually do is once I get the album I back it up on my little external hard drive. Well my computer decided to not pick it up which I don't know what happened. I literally left it alone for like two weeks and then when I need it won't pick it up.

I have tried the disk management, plugging in the other usb ports and even on a USB hub I have. Nothing but yet it picks the other external and all my other pin drives, mp3 players, and my digital cameras. But not my little external hard drive it won't pick. I tried even logging off, restart, shut down and even plug it into my dad laptop and nothing. I hope it did not die even though the little light comes on that says its plug in.

My fear is that it died on me because I have some anime that I got from a friend. Some pictures from conventions and other stuff which basically its gone if it doesn't pick up. I did get warranty on it and even the factory warranty that came with the box. So I might have to turn it in to get another one but it's a good that I had backed it up on my other external hard drive. But fuck the thing is not even a year old and now its not working. What a great day to start the week.

Present:

It looks like I have to ship my little external hard drive off to get replaced. Which is a total bummer on my part due I have a set of pics that I wanted to post but couldn't get to in time due to other stuff. But oh well what can I do about it. Because its so strange that just suddenly die and its not even a year old. :/

I called the company and we did the whole trouble shoot. The works you know plug it in a different port, disk management, everything and it looks like the thing has to be shipped to get a replacement. But man I wonder if I put a note if they can try to recover something. And place it in the new drive but that a long shot. Well going to get all that stuff they need and ship it out. Till next time I may do a livestream this week if anybody interested. Well till next time ride them waves.

Last Weekend:Well I had a good weekend in which is rare for me to have fun because I don't really jack. Well basically here how it went down. I finished my test and waited to go to my friends graduation. Then after that I stayed for a bit and then on Saturday I went to the beach. Had me some fun over then stayed the night at my friend Jeremy house. Then the next day thought I was going to be picked up by my parents but never happened so I stayed the 2nd night and then found out Osama is dead. What a great weekend I had in a long time.

Then today I cam home but my dad was pissed off at me. Due to me staying the night without him telling even though my mom was fine with it. Then it turns around and it's was my mom who was pissed off. She went on a rant about why was one of my friends there when I decide to stay the night. Because my friend Vic basically lives there. But she goes on to say I don't like him. She thinks he gay but doesn't know that her own son is gay. Then I told her I hardly see any of my friends so I wanted to stay the night twice. But she tried to compare it to going to church which made me pissed. Because I hardly see them I talk to them online yes but I haven't spend time to hang out with my friends.

Since now some of my friends work now so I had to make the best of it to hang out with them. But it was just fucking stupid it like they think i am not going to return to their house or something. Oh yeah I forgot my mom was so pissed that she went to say "If you don't like it then why don't you move out, then go find a job, and yadayada." Which I been wanting a job and possibly move out. But I can't see why parents got mad at me for staying the night. Even though my mom said "You are 23yrs old" but yet they still think I am 10yrs old. What a great way to start a Monday I love you Mom and Dad.

A few days later: Well I went to check out my grades for my Government 1 class. The results that I am not the father. I am joking but I passed the class with 75 basically a C which I am glad I did. So it means that I get to stay on financial aid and my scholarship that which helped me through my entire time at school. Which I am going one more semester even though I am looking for work. Anything but fast food for me. If I find my job that deals with my career even better. But as of right now i am freelancing. Let just see how my summer goes now I need to start working on my new cosplay's.

Have you ever gotten one of those friends who you have not seen in a long time. Then forgot how big of a douche bag that person was. Because I use to hang out with a guy at college and at first he was pretty cool guy. As soon as he opened up it became clear that he is complete and utter asshole. I do not know how I thought that guy was cool. But found out he hates people with bad grammar. Which automatically declares him a grammar Nazi which is really annoying. Because I use to follow him twitter and his stuff didn't make any sense of the word. So basically he is a complete and utter hypocrite.

The reason why I say this because he was asking who is this person is in our school magazine. I clearly did not know who the person was to be honest. Then he found out who the person was through a friend. And he got butt hurt because one letter was not capitalize because it was a Doctor Who article. I just did a face palm for the reason that got butt hurt over that. Then I told him I never could get into that show. Maybe it just me but then he got even more butt hurt by saying "THEN YOU ARE NOT A TRUE NERD!!!!". I told him dude calm down I just a not big fan of the show no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Then he went on about other stuff then I remember why I didn't like him because he a douche bag. Well that pretty much it for this journal I will come back with a Life(update) asap.

I am back from Plastic Beach

Well I have venture to Plastic Beach and I have to say I want to go back. The show was amazing I mean I literally was star stuck by it. Well there a little story before I get to my awesome experience.

Since it was on a Friday I found out that I had a test or actually two test. Since it was supposedly mid-terms or something. And well I study for one test for half of last Thursday and the morning before the exam.And well I took the test and then I took straight off to Plastic Beach in which they were performing in Austin,TX. And well I thought we were going to hit heavy traffic but we got there around 5-ish right before traffic hit us.

Then we pulled into the hotel that we were staying which was very nice and the beds were comfy. Well then later on I got dressed for the show and we went to eat at a restaurant across the street which was seafood and it was good even though it was bloody expensive. But it was damn worth good the shrimp was good.

Soon after my cousin came by the hotel and picked me up to go to the concert. This was my first first big venue concert because I been to several but not as big name as Gorillaz. We went looking for a road that has no traffic and quickly right away we were there. My cousin told me "Man Nelson I didn't even get to change to my gorilla outfit and I mean a gorilla costume." I was busting out laughing hardcore that my sides were hurting.

Later on we got into the venue and walked up the stairs and got into our after I got my merch from the table. We sat there and N.E.R.D played as the opening. Then there was a break and I took off to the restroom and saw Bootie Brown the singer from the Dirty Harry pass by me. It was a quick glimpse and he was in a hurry. I was like "Oh Shit" because when he came on stage I was HOLY DAMN I saw him when I went to the john.

Soon the open animation of Murdoc, 2-D, and Cyborg Noodle were on the screen. People were screaming like YEAH!!!!!!! MURDOC YOU ROCK!!!. They played the Plastic Beach album except Sweepstakes and Pirate Jet. As well they played the classics like Tomorrow Comes Today, Clint Eastwood, 19-2000, Last Living Souls,Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc, El Manana, Dare, Don't get lost in heaven and Demon Days. It was amazing show I was like play one more song I wished the played ROCK IT.

But I took a shit ton of pictures and was good enough to see everything the screen and the band playing. But I want to go back to Plastic Beach.

I am going to go to my plastic beach in October I have the money and I am getting a hotel over there. Man this week just can't get any better because yesterday I told my mom I don't feel like going to the convention this year. I rather go to the concert since when are they going to come back not any time soon. But when I told her that she was all cool with it like Ok well we just need to plan out and we figure out everything soon.

Plastic Beach here I come its going to be a good its going to make up for this rest of this year.

I am really debating this October for what I want to do. Because they are two things I want to do but my mind might already decided on what my goal is. So far two things are happening in October a convention called Realms con. They are going to have Steve Blum aka Spike from Cowboy Bepop. Roger the Negotiator from Big O.

Then the other thing is Gorillaz concert like OMG YES I KNOW I have the money and I am debating on those. But I am pretty sure I made up my mind on this but I just have to get my folks to take me. I can get the ticket just my parents have to buy it and I pay them back. I seriously wished I had a license and car to drive.

But my mom is going to play devil advocate and say "Either the convention or the concert pick one."So far I have enough to go this is going to be a good fall since I got screwed into see La Roux this summer I am not missing out this experience PLASTIC BEACH HERE I COME!

Well this week I stumbled on a artist called Mika. I know the name is strange but his music is pretty good to listen to. He has the sound of Queen mixed with Wham! since his songs are pop and calming. The reason I started listening to him is because of a recording of Live from Abbey road. Which on the Sundance channel and I watched because of La Roux another great artist. Well he was the first act so I heard his stuff and liked it. I am not depressed or anything of that matter but the beginning of this week. I received a random depression like out of no where. Suddenly from happy to being sad which happens to best of everyone. This time I broke down crying it must of been something in my head that said "Go ahead and cry its ok just let it out."

Like literally I broke down and cried for like atleast ten minutes or so.But my friend Kevin said to me. No, don't cry Sal I don't like you when your sad then it makes me feel sad.When he told me that I felt a little better but I guess that crying made me feel better inside as person.

For bottling up your emotions tends to lead to a troubling outcome.It also show that your a person and not a mindless drone. For I have friends who say I grown a tolerance to pain. Yeah physical pain but not emotional pain is completely different thing. That one of the flaws of being a human emotion. But I guess its a good thing it shows that you real and mindless drone. But I am feeling better now and I am truly thankful that my friend was there to comfort me.

Well this is just a little update on what been going on with my little life. Some stuff has gone down when I was away from my circle of friends that I have at the college I go to. Well lets me try to sum it up in sentence or 140 characters like on twitter.

Break from school, shit happens between some friends, alcohol ruining friends with some , some are moving, and I know who I am as a person.

Yeah that basically what that sums up one part of my summer away. Well anyways back to what I was talking about.Oh yeah well lately I entered a contest for the Jet Set Radio 10th anniversary on Deviantart.com and I got a lot of my online friends to vote for me. Well the results are in and I won first place. I was really happy to win the contest because I got a year membership to the art site which mean extra features. Then the other prize was getting the actual Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future soundtracks. Well I had to wait like almost a entire month to get them but it was worth the wait. Oh they came all the way from Australia which was even cooler. But man to actually to have the actual case and real cd feels amazing. I post the pictures at the bottom of this post.

Well, then I been saving up money for two reasons I am going to Realmscon in Corpus Christi, Texas and planning on going see the Gorillaz concert in Austin on the 22nd. But I have to get the tickets early for that one because they go on sale on the 13th. So I have to buy them quickly . So what I am doing is selling a bunch of stuff I don't need anymore and I am asking for donations anything at least a dollar or something. Well other then that I been reading two comics by a artist by the name of Jakegr on Furaffinity.net. The comics are so sweet and cute that they make happy ever time I read them. Which also got me thinking on going to a actual furry convention and the only one in Texas is in February.

Just to go for the fun of it to see what they do there plus to see all those furries in public and to cosplay there in furry costume. Because I been drawing Choji and been coming out like some type of cat it just so strange. The artist I love in both furry and antro are Gaz, Fatyogi, Jakegr, my friend Sam and some others. Well I guess its time for some pictures of those soundtracks woooo here we go.

A long hiatus

Hey, To the people who do read my blog well I been gone for a really long time haven't I. Well I here to update after being gone. Well to start haven't been going to school for the summer but been keeping busy. By downloading anime but never watch it plus working on cosplay that I been doing for one convention but to show at other conventions whenever I go. Well anyways I am here to show process of what I been doing.

First to start is my cosplay (Dun Dun Dun then slight applause)
My recent project was making the costume of Beat from Jet Grind Radio which has been the most expensive out of my own pocket. What I have done is making the roller blades it self from a old pair of size 7 which fit but make my feet hurt afterwards.This what the prototypes of the say skates which I got from refrecnes off the game,pictures, video and other places not really a say design but close enough. Well I posted it on my Deviantart account which on the side so click away.

Well then after that I set out to make the props for this costume of my which is a bunch of spray which are empty cans of course not gonna have stuff in them you must be loco. Well any ways this what they look like picture below.

The after I set out to make the shirt for this costumes which I was going to use a cheap shirt but I wanted to make it feel like a shirt and not skin tight and super thin. In which after that I had to design the logo and it wasn't easy looking for a good reference so I had to pick one from a picture I found online. Well then the end result is what I post at the end of this long entry but after that I had to revised my new skates which didn't take that long to do due I had already done it a few times with my old skates. So here the revised version of my skates.

While I did that I made some glasses that kinda looked like Beat glasses from photos that I found online.Which I bought some cheap one from the thrift store and didn't take that long to maybe a hour and here what the finished product of those look like.
Well then I premiered my finished cosplay at Omnicon in Weslaco in June. Which the convention was good but could of been better if the AC was WORKING IN THE LOBBY. That was my only beef with that convention because I had to carry those things and then a backpack and damn I was exhausted well to finished off but I also won 5th place in the show and when I heard that the song Funky Dealer from the game soundtracks in my head. Then I enter another contest online at deviantart.com and won 1st place which I was glad to win as well. But now for the pictures of me in Beat cosplay.

Well that what I been up too and hope everyone who read my blog enjoy the photos I hope to take more photo shoots of this costume and maybe my older cosplay while planning more costumes based around Jet Set Radio since the who skates are fun for me to make and everything. Well lately I been looking for some new ideas for cosplay because lately I been getting a sort of cosplay block because I haven't found something interesting to do because Choji is getting kinda boring and stressful on the hair. So i am looking for something more experimental. So I decided to look for something because I did LIL Slugger in December for RGV cosplay 7 and I discovered my old roller blades that I spray painted yellow. Which gave me the idea of Jet Grind Radio which is a Dream-cast game from the good old days of awesome gaming. Here a video of this classic game enjoy that.

Well as getting a new idea for a cosplay I also searched for the soundtracks of the games Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio:Future. Wow finally it here fucking LMFAO is here in the valley I am like ultra psyched like to fucking max like OH MY GOD!! They are going down with other guest I post the pictures with the links to the their myspace page. Well I got mine and my friends tickets like a couple of weeks back which was one good quest to find the bloody place because god damn it was like we past the place like 5 or 6 times. Well when we got there we had to wait like almost to a hour for the guy to show up but when the guy came about it was like seeing a savior come through the door with the whole aura of hope and when bought them we were like Thank You and then we were off. We found out like two more of our friends are going but from now what we heard its only going to be and my friend Raul going. The band is a alternative and well the album is pretty good in my taste it one of those you can have listening in your room or car with out getting to loud or give you a headache. Well this week is going all right I been listening to a new artist called La Roux. I listen to her with one my friends that she showed a couple of weeks ago. She a really good artist the album is really great and it her debut album which is even better. I love her so much she really great usually when I listen to some new artist I either loved, like, or hate them. There are some bands that I don't like at all but since my friends listen to them I can tolerate it but when I listen to them alone I am like BLARGH change the station. Screenplay

Well I have wrote a screen play a while back during my break from school. The story about a serial killer named Felix and a pyschirst named Derrick who talks to him through four acts. Which acts describe both the past of Felix and Derrick which they both have something in common. Some people I send it to really liked the story and everyone liked Felix because of attitude which I got some from myself and others as well as Derrick. Some thought it was like a Law and Order:SVU which I don't know how they got that but oh well. Realmscon 2009

Well I went to Realmscon and I got to say it could of been better sorry I gave it a B+. There were some things that bugged the fuck out of me. First was that cosplay show at 2pm on Saturday seriously who the fuck does that and most of the stuff like skit wise were dances who the fuck does that. Seriously 2pm because we had to register at 12pm and then come back before 2pm. I was tired and had not ate most of the day. During a cosplay show it feels like fooooorever in there and it tires you out like hardcore because it feels like forever even though it was only a hour it was like huh. Then I noticed that not a lot cosplayers were there maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. I felt kinda disappointed about the convention I saw a new band called The Slants which were pretty good. Then I saw some of friends there one I didn't want to bother on talking but that a different story.

But the high life of the entire convention was I ate one of the voice actors candy bars by accident I tell that story for a different time. But I still had fun at the convention the people who ran last year convention were more organized and they did better on the cosplay show and everything else was running smoothly in my opinion this year was like confusing and fuck like I am still bugged that cosplay show was at 2pm I thought the cosplay was like one of the main events. I was dissapointed and I hope next year be better because I was tisk tisk tisk not what I excepted better but can't get everything I hope the convention is better next year. But I did met some cool people there very cool people and some will send me pictures that they took of me and what not.

Well over all I had fun but it could of been better I give it a B+ in my book.

RGV Cosplay 6

Well yesterday cosplay gathering went very good around 18 people went this time around not as best the 2nd cosplay troupe gathering but still good. We had only two people cosplay me and my friend Lauren. Everybody had tons of fun seriously tons of fun because some of friends came with larp gear meaning foam swords and axes etc. It was a very good day people were getting aggravated for the food wasn't there. But when the burgers got there everybody shut up and peace came then like an hour later it began to rain really bad. I had to spend some at my friends house with his sister and my friend. We watched Godzilla and talked stuff you know the break the ice thing.

It was a good day it weird how rain and movies can you make conversation and find out more about your friends.

This past Sunday the MTV VMA's and usually I don't watch these award shows because there bias but I saw the tribute to King of Pop himself Micheal Jackson. I was so in the moment I even try to do some of the dances and since I can get the moonwalk. I am a big Micheal Jackson I cry when I hear Man in the Mirror, Dirty Diana, and Billie Jean. The tribute was so nice the dance moves were so perfectly timed one of the best I seen so far. Long live the KING OF POP!!!

Well since Kayne West had made the news about his recent hissy fit on the MTV Video Music Awards. Seriously don't you know that MTV is bias when they come to award shows and to say that his music is not good at all. The fact he needs good artist to make his music sound better and so I found one by one of my fame artist LMFAO they remix one of Kayne West songs Paranoid and got to say LMFAO kicks ass. Well I was going through my old bookmarks a couple of nights and I saw that I had a link that was a free download to a artist called Miss Kitten. She is artist I use to listen during high school and I felt like listening to her again. The mix is an hour long mix yes I said an hour long you think that long trust I heard mixes that were longer then that. It a good mix if you put it on a cd and listen to it in your car. You can totally trip by clicking the picture and download the mix and oh I also forget it an old mix tape from 2003.

I recently watched this movie and by god sake it one scary ass film. The whole first person perspective from camera man point of view. Sure clover field did it but it sucked horribly it gave me a bloody headache. The plot of this movie is that tv anchor for a television show was doing a special about a life of a fire fighter. Soon then go to an apartment complex where the fire fighters were called and soon get sealed in by the government. Pretty good film it all in Spanish with English subs.

The remake of the movie is called Quarantine same plot and everything but a little different if you going to watch Quarantine first watch [REC] trust me it a hell of a lot better.

Well one my friends told that they made a super small SLR and since I am in the media degree I almost had a nerdgasm because it to have all that power inside a small package is such an awesome thing to have I would give an arm and a leg for one. The link below is a video on how small the SLR is.

Wow I went to stumble upon got to say that this site is just fucking awesome to the serious. I typed in some random word and it found me this. It some thing called the E-ball I don't believe if it real but if it was it so kicked the lap top on to the floor and beg. I don't know if it a April fools joke but from the pics I buy one.

Aren’t you tired of your PC? By his ugly shape and the way that it looks? Well, this is exactly what designer Apostol Tnokovski was feeling when he decided to create the smallest PC ever made. It’s not going to be like a PDA, it’s going to be a PC with all conventional components (mouse, keyboard, normal screen).

The concept PC is called E-Ball and it’s shaped like a sphere because in Tnokovski’s opinion this is the best shape in nature and it draws everybody’s attention.

E-Ball will feature a dual core processor, 250-500GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, integrated graphic card and sound card, 2 x 50W speakers, HD-DVD recorder, wireless optical mouse and laser keyboard, LAN and WLAN card, modem, Web cam and integrated LCD projector.

Also, the E-Ball PC supports a paper holder and the paper sheet on the holder could act like a screen where you can watch movies or something. This concept PC will measure 160mm in diameter and it was designed for Microsoft Windows OS, sorry about the others. For the moment there is no word on pricing or when it’s going to be available, however, I am sure that everybody would like to see a small spherical PC like this one.

Lately I been around the place setting up stuff for the RGV Cosplay Troupe 6. We are going to be at Victor Park in Harlingen,TX on September 12th. I been constantly reminding people over Myspace and at my school about this because the thing has been kinda failing in my stand point.I might abandoned it not completely but put it on hiatus. For some reason not a lot of people make it due to work or something comes up.

So I didn't say it officially just maybe a thought so don't quote me on it. I also have stuff going on my life that I have to obtain since I am planning new cosplay and what not because my cosplay closet is kinda bare and out at the moment. So I have to design them and think what I have to do to make it.

Well today is going good I suppose my weekend is going alright I didn't really do much but I found some stuff that I can use for my cosplay costumes. I bought some regular flip flops and they going be transformed in ninja shoes. The process won't take that long but the one that going to take a while is my other project. Which I am gonna be doing a mask from one of my favorite musicians which is Daft Punk.

The process is going to take a couple of months that my brief estimate on how long it gonna take for me and my dad to complete it. I been waiting to do this for a long time ever since I got into the act of cosplaying. Hope my schooling doesn't bring the dream to life when it done I will premiere some where like my school or something. But for now in the planning stages the only thing I got is the based which I be using a catcher mask. Then I been looking up tutorials on what others used to make it.
